Specialty Program Group (SPG) is the wholesale & MGA division of HUB International (5th Largest Global Broker). SPG acts in a holding company capacity acquiring best in class underwriting businesses to operate independently under discrete brands (portfolio companies).
Strategic Benefit Resources provides a data analytics platform, assists with implementation and ongoing support for a third-party reporting platform SBR utilizes for marketing and claims management. Our customers also have access to and utilize the reporting platform.
Responsibilities:
• Exhibits an attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Possesses good organizational skills and can manage time and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Exhibits the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Good understanding of benefits and benefit calculations.
• Performs duties in a HIPAA compliant manner.
• Participates as a team member to ensure the smooth operation of the entire department.
• Maintains notes with detail to enable accurate project management and tracking
• Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure proper data entry.
• Ability to troubleshoot claim issues as needed.
• Maintenance of each client in Salesforce.
• Develops and maintains relationships with the various brokers, carriers, and contacts at the clients.
• Complies with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assists in training/mentoring of other employees at the Supervisor or Manager's request to ensure consistency within the stop loss department.
• Performs special projects at the request of Management.
• Demonstrates the ability to complete root cause analysis and develop process improvement plans to present to Management.
• Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software, and familiarity with Salesforce and Excel predominantly is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand reinsurance contracts and Summary Plan Descriptions.
• Maintains Turnaround Time (TAT) guidelines and accuracy goals with the onboarding of new and existing clients.
• Ability to reconcile invoice statements.
• Willingness to track monthly data loads and work with vendors until all data has been received/loaded.
• Ability to perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Willingness to continue to follow up with vendors until tasks are completed.
• Ability to train and perform Q&A on Self Insured Reporting platform functionality.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and two years' experience with project management or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Department Business Operations

Required Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
